Ghost Stories

Posted On 10-26-2008 , 9:31 PM

"You can't experience camping without a few good campfire stories.  Some of them could be rather scary and that is part of the fun of a good campfire story.  There are all kinds of stories to tell, but the setting is perfect for a ghost story.... it's dark, there are noises all around, the fire casts an eerie glow... you get the picture.  There are quite a few websites that can tell you stories to tell and we are actually working on collecting some of those websites and stories for you and almost have a great list complied.  You can also go to sites where you can download stories to your library so you will always have a story to tell on hand."  If you want to wirelessly download stories or even current events while you are away on your trip, consider checking this out:

October is here!

Posted On 10-22-2008 , 4:10 PM

"Well, I can't believe that it is October already!  Where has the year been going?  The holiday merchandise is already out in stores and we haven't even had Halloween yet.  The years go by faster and faster.  If anyone knows of a way to slow them drugstore.comdown, please let me know!  But since at the moment, we can't slow them down, I guess we have to just accept it as it is and just go with the moment.  This moment is for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Halloween.  I guess that would be two moments then.  We have probably all been touched by breast cancer in one way or another and of course, my girls (and I) love Halloween.  (All that chocolate....)  We are also working on a lot of updates to our "Camping Supplies For You" website, such as: getting pages ready to create a list of campsites in all areas as well as fun games and activities that you can do while walking around in the woods.  We are also collecting some great campfire stories that we know you will love!.  So, don't forget to check back and to see what's new."
