Campfire Stories

Posted On 11-29-2008 , 8:28 PM

"Well, we have started a collection of campfire stories for you.  There are quite a lot of stories out there and we are narrowing them down for you.  We are also working on a storytelling section that will help you be a great storyteller!  With these tips on the "Art of Storytelling", you will be the greatest teller of campfire stories there is!  On the "Campfire Stories" page, there will be scary stories (naturally), some ghost stories, funny stories as well as campfire stories for scouts and young children.  Some other campfire stories will be from fables and folklore.  You will also see some campfire stories that teach a moral and some from legends and myths.  Some of these campfire stories will be able to be downloaded to an MP3 player or CD and you will be able to play them at your campsite...... or even in your bedroom at night, maybe at a sleepover with friends.  Whenever and where ever you choose to listen to and share these stories is up to you.  We just hope you enjoy them."

Frost is here!

Posted On 11-04-2008 , 3:32 PM

"Hello Everyone!  The other day I had to actually scrape the ice of my car windows.  Yuck.  I was hoping for more beautiful Indian Summer to take us through a few more weeks before the real cold New England weather struck.  Oh well.  The cold weather means I can stay indoors more and work on this website.  I will be checking out some winter camping places and adding more pages to this site in the next few weeks.  I am hoping to get this site to a place where it will be a valuable resource for any camper looking for ideas and to share their camping experiences.  As always I am open to any suggestions as to what you might like to see on our site.  Stay warm and enjoy the rest of Fall."
